About the LED Conversion Project for Public Facilities in Inagi City
In our city, in order to achieve carbon neutrality, we plan to update the lighting in public facilities within the city to energy-efficient and long-lasting LED lighting, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and alleviate the financial burden caused by rising electricity costs.
In implementing the project, we will receive proposals from private Business Operators with abundant technology and skills regarding lighting replacement, wiring work, maintenance, etc., and we will conduct this proposal to select the Business Operator that brings the best results for our city.
Regarding the proposal, the period until March 31, 2023 (Friday) is designated as the preparation period, during which the proposal implementation guidelines will be published and participation declaration forms will be accepted. During the subsequent application period, proposal documents will be accepted, and the first and second screenings will be conducted.

Selection Method
The city will request the submission of proposals, etc., from participants who have submitted a declaration of participation and are recognized as eligible to participate.
After receiving the submission of proposals, the selection committee for the LED conversion project of public facilities in Inagi City will conduct the first screening (document review), and later, a second screening (presentation) will be held for those who pass the first screening.
After selecting the preferred negotiator through the secondary examination, we will conduct on-site inspections of the target facilities and engage in detailed discussions with the city, making adjustments towards the conclusion of basic agreements and lease contracts.

Proposal Selection Results (May 24, 2023)
In selecting the preferred negotiator, applications were received from three parties. As a result of a comprehensive evaluation of the proposal documents, presentations, and Q&A sessions during the first screening (document review) on April 26, 2023 (Wednesday) and the second screening (presentation review) on May 18, 2023 (Thursday), the following preferred negotiator and runner-up negotiator have been selected.

Decision of Business Operators (July 18, 2023)
After discussions with Daiwa Lease Co., Ltd. Tokyo Headquarters, selected as the preferred negotiator in the proposal, a basic agreement was concluded on June 30, 2023, for the LED conversion of Public Facilities lighting.
In the future, we will work on the LED conversion of Public Facilities lighting sequentially over the three years from fiscal year 2023 to 2025.
