New public facility reservation system for sports facilities

Updated: November 12, 2024

Online payments will be available. Smart keys will be introduced. Reservation schedules and rules will change.


Starting in December, the public facility reservation system for sports facilities will be updated. New functions will be introduced to make it easier to use.
Please note that with the launch of the new system, reservation schedules and rules will change.
Information regarding the new system will be updated on this page as it becomes available.

As with the previous public facility reservation system, the new system requires users to register in advance.
Please check this page for registration conditions and application procedures.

Introducing online payments

You can now make online payments. You can choose from the following payment methods:

  • Credit card payment
  • Convenience store payment (Payments can be made at Lawson, Family Mart, Ministop, etc. Not available at 7-Eleven )
  • QR code payment (scheduled to be introduced after February 2025)

(Note) You can still choose to pay at each counter as before.

Online payment is available when making reservations under the new system. Please check the following items to see which months are eligible for payment.

Introducing smart keys

We will be introducing smart keys in outdoor facilities, allowing you to use the facilities without having to go to the counter to get a key.

how to use

  1. Reservations can be made and payments completed through the new system (reservations can also be completed for free facilities).
  2. The smart key number will be sent to you by email (it can also be found on the reservation system).
  3. The provided number will be used to open the key box at the facility.
  4. Take the key from the key box and unlock the entrance to the facility.
  5. Once you have unlocked the facility entrance, return the key to the key box and lock it.
  6. After use, open the key box again using the provided number and retrieve the key.
  7. Lock the entrance to the facility, return the key to the key box, and then lock the box.

  • Inagi Kita Ryokuchi Park Tennis Court
  • Daimaru Park Tennis Court
  • Shiroyama Park Tennis Court
  • Wakabadai Park Tennis Court
  • Friend Hirao Gymnasium and Grounds
  • Minamitama Sports Ground Multipurpose ground, tennis courts, soccer field
Facilities opened on March 1, 2025
  • Wakabadai Park Multipurpose Square
  • Inagi Central Park Baseball Stadium will be closed until March 31st, so smart keys will go into use from April 1st.

(Note) Keys to the car stops at Tamagawa Ryokuchi Park will continue to be available for rental at the Gymnasium counter as before.
(Note) Please note that due to the preparation of smart keys, the facilities will be unavailable on the following dates and times.

  • Friday, January 31, 2025: Shiroyama Park Tennis Court after 5pm, Wakabadai Park Tennis Court after 6pm
  • Friday, February 28, 2025: Wakabadai Park Multipurpose Square after 5pm

Changes to reservation schedules and rules

The schedule and rules for lottery reservations and first-come-first-served reservations will change. The main changes are as follows:

  • Changes to reservation period or dates
  • Change in the number of reserved frames (Limit on the number of frames may also be changed)
  • The payment period has been changed to three days after the lottery results are published or the first-come-first-served reservation application date. (For example, if the lottery results are published on Monday, January 6, 2025, payment must be made by Thursday, January 9.)

The changes will vary by facility, so please see the PDF file below for details. The parts in red in the file will be changed from the previous version.

The reservation schedule and rules will change from the month in which the new system is used. Please check the items below to see which months are affected.

Regarding usage fees when rain or heatstroke alerts are issued

If the sports facilities cannot be used due to rain, or if use is suspended on a day when the heat index exceeds 31, from February 2025 onwards, we will refund the usage fee and charges instead of transferring them as before.
We will inform you of the specific procedures at a later date.

Notes

There are some things to note when transitioning to the new system.

Future system usage schedule

The current system will continue to be used in parallel until February. Depending on the month of use, either the current system or the new system will be used.
Please check the schedule below for details. Please note that some schedules may differ from normal months.
For winning reservations for the lottery where the results are published on Monday, January 6th, 2025, payment must be made by Thursday, January 9th.

(Note) Chuo Park Baseball Stadium is closed from December 29th to March 31st of the following year.

Regarding new reservation schedules and rules

Changes to reservation schedules and rules will be in place starting from Monday, December 16th, the month in which lottery reservations will be made under the new system.
For reservations made using the current system, the same reservation schedule and rules will apply as before. Please note that payment can only be made at the counter and online payments are not possible.

Night lighting

Nighttime lighting will remain the same as before.
Night lighting tickets will continue to be sold at the Gymnasium for Shiroyama Park Tennis Courts, Wakabadai Park Tennis Courts, and Wakabadai Park Multipurpose Field.
Inagi Nagamine Verdy Field and Friend Hirao Ground will continue to accept applications at their respective counters.

An information session will be held

An explanatory session will be held on how to use the new system and changes from the current system.
No registration is required and anyone can participate.
