The 48th Citizen Swimming Meet was held

This year, the 48th "Citizens' Swimming Meet" was held.
The results will be posted as follows.
For privacy reasons, we have withheld the names of the people involved. Thank you for your understanding.
Note: The results of this tournament are for participants on the day. If you participated in the tournament, please refer to the "Program" distributed on the day to check your records.

Sunday, August 25, 2024. Cancelled due to bad weather. No backup date. Note: If the event is cancelled, it will be posted on the city's website, so please check for details.
The times are tentative. Details of the tournament will be sent to each participant via email in mid-August.

Department

  • Individual event applications are limited to two events per person.
  • Please note that for events with a small number of applicants, you may be placed in the same race as participants in other events.

Note 1: The kickboard race is a recreational sport, so only those who have difficulty competing in other events can participate. Therefore, those who participate in the kickboard race cannot participate in other events. In addition, if a child is anxious about swimming alone, a parent can enter the water with them to provide support. However, pushing or pulling directly is prohibited.
 
Note 2: For relay events, participants may participate in one division each of the medley relay and free relay. However, participants participating in the parent-child relay are not permitted to participate in the medley relay or free relay.
 
Note 3: Anyone can participate in the general division regardless of age.
 
Note 4: The parent-child relay race will be divided into 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade divisions. Parents (guardians) can participate as many times as they like.

Notes

  • The lockers in the changing rooms are coin-return type (10-yen coins).
  • Warming up exercises will be done at the opening ceremony, but there may be some time before the race. Please be sure to do your own warm-up exercises before the race.
  • There will be an awards ceremony. We ask that those who are receiving awards (1st to 3rd place) not go home immediately after the competition.
  • In order to prevent accidents, only those who practice on a daily basis will start diving.
  • There is no parking lot, so please use public transportation when visiting.
  • Photos, videos, names, records, etc. recorded during the event may be published in public relations papers and on the city website. Please be aware of this before applying.
  • Photographing during the competition by the general public is prohibited (photographing at the time of awarding is possible).
  • Although it will be held in light rain, it will be canceled in case of heavy rain or low temperature / water temperature. If in doubt, please contact us.
  • If you are injured, first aid will be provided, but you will be responsible for any injuries you incur.
