Naoki Hagiwara wins the gold medal!!

Naoki Hagiwara (men's goalball), a hometown athlete from Inagi City, won the gold medal.
The message board with the Japanese flag on it was handed to Hagiwara by students from his alma mater, Nagamine Elementary School, at a send-off party.

Results of Inagi City's Hometown Athletes at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

Inagi City's hometown athletes, Kazuki Nanano and Naoki Hagiwara, will compete in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Kazuki Nanano made it to the top 8 (tied for 5th place) in both doubles and singles!!
Naoki Hagiwara won the gold medal!
Thank you to everyone for your support during the tournament.

With the cooperation of the Yomiuri Shimbun, a special edition has been published featuring the brave performance of the men's goalball team, who won the gold medal.
Available at the general information desk on the first floor of City Hall (100 copies available, first come first served).
