Updated: October 15, 2024
On October 9, 2024, a report session was held at the Central Cultural Center Hall for athletes with ties to Inagi City who participated in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
On the day, Inagi City hometown athletes Kazuki Nanano (Para Table Tennis) and Naoki Hagiwara (Goalball) took to the stage to report on their fierce competition at the Paralympics.
They also answered questions from representatives of Wakabadai Elementary School and Nagamine Elementary School, their alma maters, and from the audience, much to the excitement of the approximately 200 local residents who had gathered at the venue.
Ms. Yoshiko Sugiura, a resident of Inagi City who competed in the women's road cycling event at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and won a gold medal, was unable to attend the report session due to scheduling conflicts.
