[Held] Send-off ceremony for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

On July 23, 2024, a send-off party was held at the Regional Promotion Plaza to support Inagi City's hometown athletes, Shichino Kazuki (Para Table Tennis) and Hagiwara Naoki (Goalball), who will be competing in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
On the day, representatives from the students of Wakabadai Elementary School and Nagamine Elementary School, the alma maters of both athletes, presented them with cheering flags, and citizens at the venue sent cheers of encouragement. Approximately 130 citizens gathered to pray for the success of both athletes at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
