The "Community Skill Bulletin Board" is an initiative that connects Neighborhood Associations facing "small troubles" in community activities with volunteers (skilled individuals) who want to contribute to community activities by utilizing their areas of expertise, in order to solve local issues.
The "Tokyo Connection Creation Foundation," established by Tokyo Metropolitan Government, serves as the project entity, using the matching platform "GRANT" operated by the certified NPO Service Grant.
Neighborhood Associations can post projects online, and interested "skilled individuals" can register to participate. The projects are designed to be easy to join, lasting from 1 day to about 3 months. Anyone who wants to utilize their experience and expertise for the benefit of the community can register as a "skilled individual."
This project is a collaborative effort between Inagi City, the Tokyo Connection Creation Foundation, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the certified NPO Service Grant.
