Emergency alert emails are a service that simultaneously notifies mobile phones in a specific area of emergency earthquake alerts and tsunami warnings issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency, as well as disaster and evacuation information distributed by the national and local governments.
If you have a mobile phone that supports emergency alert emails, no application is required, and there are no usage or communication fees.
Features
- Everyone within the delivery area can receive it, regardless of their place of residence (it may also be received near the city border).
