How to Dispose of Hazardous Materials
Please be sure to put out "spray cans, lighters, fluorescent lights, and dry batteries" on the collection day for "hazardous and metal waste" once a month.
To prevent accidents and fires involving collection vehicles and cleaning plants, hazardous materials (flammable items) such as spray cans, lighters, fluorescent lights, and dry batteries should not be placed in burnable garbage, non-burnable garbage, or bulky waste. Please make sure to put them in a transparent or semi-transparent bag and dispose of them on the monthly collection day for hazardous materials and metals.
In particular, spray cans, gas cylinders, lighters, and similar items can be harmful even if they are empty, so please be careful.
Also, if you cannot use it up, due to the risk of ignition, please place it in a transparent or semi-transparent bag and put it out on the "hazardous waste" day without puncturing it. The label "contains contents" is not necessary.
When disposing of products that contain dry batteries, such as cassette players and remote controls, as well as lighting fixtures, please ensure that any dry batteries or fluorescent lights inside are removed and sorted as hazardous waste.
If there is a mixture, please be informed with a warning sticker, and collection will not be carried out.
