Application for school attendance incentive fee (for children in special needs classes in 2020)

Inagi City will provide expenses such as elementary and junior high school supplies and school lunch fees to parents who fall under the following categories according to their income.
If you wish to receive this benefit, please submit an application.
Please note that an application is required every year. Those who received study aid or study encouragement in the previous year should also apply again.
The application deadline for initial certification is Tuesday, April 30, 2020 .
Notices and application forms for the school attendance incentive system will be distributed to children attending public elementary and junior high schools in the city through their schools in April.

Those who are eligible for enrollment incentives

Those who live in Inagi City and whose child is enrolled in a special support class at an elementary or junior high school in the city, or who falls under the degree of disability specified in Article 22-3 of the Order for Enforcement of the School Education Act.

About school attendance assistance system! First of all, please check the " Application for school support " page!

The School Attendance Assistance Scheme is a more generous scheme than the School Attendance Encouragement Scheme. If your household is eligible, please apply for the scheme separately (you cannot receive both).
Even if you are not eligible for school assistance, if you are eligible for school encouragement, please fill out the necessary information on the application form and apply. If you submit a single "2024 School Assistance and Encouragement Grant Application Form", you can be reviewed for the school encouragement grant even if your school assistance grant application is denied.
Note: Even if you are not eligible for school assistance, if you moved to Inagi City on or after January 2, 2024, you will need to submit the same documents as those for school assistance. Please check the "Parents who moved to Inagi City on or after January 2, 2024" section of the school assistance application.

From application to result notification

Please submit one "application form for school attendance support/scholarship" for each household.
Families with siblings attending elementary and junior high schools in the city can receive multiple application forms, but each family must submit only one application form.
The application form is the same for both the school attendance support system and the school attendance incentive system.

Application deadline

To receive the initial April certification, please submit by Tuesday, April 30, 2020.
If submitted by April 30th, a notification of the results will be mailed to the applicant's address in early July.

If submitted after that time, you will start receiving benefits based on the date of submission. If you apply by the 15th of the month (or the next business day if the 15th is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday), you will start receiving benefits from that month. If you apply after the 16th, you will start receiving benefits from the following month. , each will start receiving benefits. A notification of the results will be mailed to the applicant's address approximately one month after application.
Note: The last day to receive tuition assistance fees and tuition incentive fees for 2020 is February 28, 2020 (Friday).

Based on your income and standard amount of public assistance, the subsidies will be classified and paid as follows according to the classification.
Category guidelines (for a four-person household): Category 1/Category 2 → Households with a total household income of 8 million yen or less, Category 3 → Households with a total household income of 8 million yen or more The following amounts may vary.

(Note 1)
Those who received the new school supplies fee before entering the school will not be paid the new school supplies fee. If you are a first year student and receive certification in April, you will be paid. If you receive certification after May, you will not be paid.
(Note 2)
Please pay the school lunch fee until the results of the examination are received. If you are certified as one or two of the school enrollment incentives, the withdrawal of the school lunch fee will be stopped and the amount you have already paid will be refunded.

If you are eligible, please submit the "Application for Subsidy for Commuting to School for Special Needs Classes" together with the "Application for Receipt of Enrollment Support Expenses/Incentives."

We will check the route, so please attach a copy of your commuter pass, etc., to the "Special Needs School Commuting Expense Subsidy Application Form" and submit it.

Your child does not use trains or buses and goes to a school with a special support class that is not in the school district on your address.

2,000 yen per month

Please submit the “Special Support Class Commuting Expense Subsidy Application Form”.

When children go to school by train or bus, their parents accompany them to school.

All of the above will be paid after the month of certification, except for August.

The calculation of the actual cost is based on one month's worth of the cheapest commuter pass with the longest period. Therefore, please understand that the amount may not match the actual amount purchased for the commuter pass, etc.
