If the total income of all household members is less than the above amount, it will be a guideline for receiving school assistance. However, the standard amount will change depending on the age composition and rent, so please use it as a guide only. If you are unsure whether you meet the criteria, we recommend that you apply.
Income in the above table includes part-time jobs, part-time jobs, pensions, etc. Employment income earners refer to the amount obtained by subtracting social insurance premiums and withholding tax from the "payment amount" on the withholding slip. For non-employment income earners, it is the "total amount of income" on the final tax return. In addition, if your income suddenly changes due to special circumstances such as leaving your job due to the circumstances of your workplace, bankruptcy, illness, disaster, etc., please consult with the School Affairs Division.

(Note)
If your household includes a parent or guardian who moved to Inagi City after January 2, 2020, proof of income from one of the sources (copies accepted) for all applicable persons is required.

  • Withholding tax slip for employment income for 2020
  • A copy of the income tax return for 2020 (Table 1)
  • Municipal inhabitant tax taxation certificate (or tax exemption certificate) for 2020

Taxation certificates (or tax exemption certificates) can be purchased in June at the municipality where you lived on January 1, 2020.
