Announcement regarding school attendance assistance (new admission school supplies fees)

Inagi City will provide a fixed amount of tuition assistance to financially struggling families with children entering public or national elementary or junior high schools in the 2025 school year.
If you wish to receive benefits, please submit an application.

Eligible applicants are those who live in Inagi City and will be residing there as of the end of March 2025 (income restrictions apply).

Elementary school: 54,060 yen Junior high school: 63,000 yen

The information and application form were included in the envelope distributed at the school entry health checks held at each elementary school in October and November.
Those who wish to receive the benefit should submit the necessary documents to the Educational Affairs Division on the 6th floor of the City Hall by Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Applications can also be submitted at the Hirao Branch Office and Wakabadai Branch Office, but the details will be checked after the application is forwarded to the Educational Affairs Division of the City Hall, so you may be contacted at a later date if there are any deficiencies in the details.
If you would like to send the application by mail, you must contact the City Hall Academic Affairs Division.

For those who are currently in the sixth grade and have been certified for school assistance, we plan to mail the "Declaration for Receiving School Supplies Expenses for New Students" to the address you applied for in early December. Those whose children are planning to enter a private junior high school or who will transfer out by the end of March 2025 are not eligible to receive the benefit.
Even if you decline this time, if you enroll in a public junior high school and continue to live in Inagi City, you can apply again in April of 2025.

-If you are a recipient of this new admission school supplies fee and wish to continue receiving tuition assistance next year, you will need to apply separately after enrolling.
・For those who receive this new admission school supplies fee, the new admission school supplies fee will not be paid after enrollment.
・If you are no longer eligible to receive the benefit due to moving out or enrolling in a private junior high school after receiving the benefit, please return the benefit by the designated deadline using the payment slip.
