About the applicant challenge support loan project

Support for cram school fees and exam fees

We support children from households with incomes below a certain level by providing loans for cram school expenses and exam fees.

  1. Loans for tuition fees for cram schools <br id="3"/>We provide interest-free loans to cover the costs of attending cram schools, etc., which are necessary to prepare for high school or university entrance exams.
    Maximum amount: 200,000 yen for third year junior high school students or equivalent, 200,000 yen for third year high school or equivalent
  2. High school/university entrance exam fee loan <br id="3"/>We provide an interest-free loan for high school or university entrance exam fees.
    Maximum amount: 27,400 yen (upper limit) for high school entrance exams, 80,000 yen (upper limit) for university entrance exams

Target audience

Those who meet all of the following requirements

  1. Be the head of the household (aged 18 or over)
  2. Taxable income or total income amount is below a certain standard
  3. The amount of assets such as deposits and savings is 6 million yen or less
  4. Do not own land or buildings (excluding land and buildings where you currently reside)
  5. Must have lived (registered as a resident) in Tokyo for more than one year
  6. Not being the head of a household or a member of a welfare recipient household
  7. The person is not a member of the household to which an organized crime group member belongs as stipulated in Article 2, Item 6 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991).

Regarding application for repayment (redemption) exemption

If you enroll in a school that is eligible for the loan, you can be exempt from repayment (redemption) by applying for exemption under the Exam Taker Challenge Support Loan.
For repayment exemption, you will need to submit a certificate of enrollment from the high school, university, etc. you attended along with the repayment exemption application form. In addition, if you meet other eligibility requirements for repayment exemption, you may be exempt from repayment after screening. For more information, please contact the Inagi City Social Welfare Council.
