Preserved Trees
In Inagi City, based on the "Ordinance on the Protection of the Natural Environment and the Restoration of Greenery in Inagi City," valuable trees are designated as preserved trees to promote the conservation of greenery.
Criteria for Designating Preserved Trees
- Regarding trees, they should be healthy, aesthetically pleasing, well-managed, and have a height of about 10 meters, with a trunk diameter of approximately 0.5 meters (circumference of about 1.5 meters) at a height of 1 meter above the ground, or other trees that the Inagi City Natural Environment Conservation Council recognizes as necessary based on their characteristics.
- Regarding the forests, each individual forest is healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and well-managed.
Grant Distribution
When designated as a preserved tree, a subsidy will be provided based on the "Guidelines for Subsidy Grants for the Protection of Natural Environment and Recovery of Greenery in Inagi City."
