The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, special wards, and 26 cities and 2 towns have collaboratively conducted research and discussions on urban planning roads that have not yet been initiated, excluding priority maintenance routes. They have formulated a basic policy that outlines verification methods for reviewing urban planning roads and response policies for planning changes of individual routes.
The basic policy can be viewed on the Tokyo Metropolitan Urban Development Bureau website, the Citizens' Information Room (3rd floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1), and at the offices of each ward, city, and town.
