Maintenance and Management of Street Trees
Main Maintenance Management of Inagi City
The street trees, which grow significantly along with the city's development, are an important shared asset of the citizens that adds color to the town of Inagi.
Pruning
We are pruning the branches and leaves of street trees to ensure sunlight and ventilation for the overall health of the trees, as well as to enhance the individual tree shapes and the landscape as a row of trees. In doing so, we strive to maintain a shape as close to the natural tree form as possible.
Pruning
The shrubs between the sidewalk and the roadway are regularly trimmed according to the tree species, as overgrown branches can obstruct passage.
Pesticide Application
To prevent the occurrence of pests on street trees that may cause inconvenience to the surrounding area, we spray pesticides during the season when pests are likely to appear to prevent the spread of damage.
Repair of road surfaces and other areas
As trees grow, the roots near the surface can thicken and sometimes lift the pavement of surrounding roads and the blocks of planting pits, so repairs are made as necessary. Additionally, we also maintain and manage old tree supports and tree circles.
Leaf Cleaning
Street trees shed their leaves after the autumn foliage season in preparation for next year's growth. The city is also conducting cleaning, but we ask for the understanding and cooperation of the surrounding residents.
