Visited Foster City
A visit tour to Foster City, organized by the Inagi City Sister City Friendship Association, was held, and we visited our overseas sister city, Foster City.
There were a total of 11 participants, including the Mayor of Inagi City and the President of the Inagi City Sister City Friendship Association.
On the first day, we went to an elementary school for a school tour. We were given headphones for simultaneous interpretation, and the principal and elementary school students guided us around the school.
Next, we headed to the lagoon in the city center and took a boat for a city tour.
In the evening, a welcome party was held for us. We were warmly welcomed by many, including Mayor John Froomin of Foster City, the new president of the Foster City Sister City Association, David Saito and his wife, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Noguchi, the Consul General of San Francisco.

On the second day, an exchange meeting with the citizens of Foster City was held. First, the children introduced Foster City and shared their experiences at their respective schools.
Next, we had a gift exchange. Mayor Flumin presented us with a custom street sign.
During lunchtime, we enjoyed handmade sliced steak sandwiches and salad prepared by members of the Foster City Rotary Club while socializing.
Finally, there was a performance by the children's orchestra, which was very exciting.
On the way back, everyone saw off the bus and we dispersed.

In October of last year, citizens of Foster City visited Inagi City, and this time, citizens of Inagi City visited Foster City, marking the beginning of mutual citizen exchanges. We hope to connect this to exchanges between the children of both cities in the future.
