Calling for evacuation with “Escape call”
Updated: July 2nd, 2019
In the event of a disaster, let's make a ``call to escape'' to support evacuation to protect your loved ones!
``Escape Call'' is a call made directly by a family member who receives information on a smartphone or other device to the elderly or other family members who live far away when the danger of flooding or landslides in nearby rivers is imminent. This is an initiative to call for evacuation action.
Flow of “Run or Call”
1.Obtain the disaster prevention app on your smartphone and register for your area.
2. You will receive a push notification when disaster prevention information is issued for the area registered with the disaster prevention app.
3. Check the push notifications on your disaster prevention app and call your loved ones to urge them to evacuate.
4.If you receive a call, please begin evacuation actions.
5. Please evacuate to a safe place such as an evacuation center or evacuation site.
For information on how to set up and register for the app, please visit the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism website below.
