How to restore your gas meter
In the event of an emergency such as an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 5 or higher, the safety device will activate and the microcomputer meter (gas meter) will shut off the gas, making it impossible to use gas.
The recovery method differs depending on the gas meter model.

Tokyo Gas Network Restoration My Map
"Restoration My Map" is a system that goes live when a major earthquake occurs that causes a supply outage, and displays the progress of restoration on a map in six color-coded sections: "Supply out," "Shutoff in progress," "Gas pipe inspection in progress," "Gas pipe repair in progress," "Reopening in progress," and "Restoration complete." The map can be enlarged to the parcel number level, and addresses can be searched, allowing users to check the status of gas supply outages and restoration progress for each individual home.
