Please tell me the procedure when a foreigner who is registered as a resident moves out.

If you move to Inagi City [Notification of moving in]
Within 14 days after moving in, please bring the moving-out certificate and the residence cards or special permanent resident certificates of all the people who moved in to the Citizens' Affairs Division.
If you move out of Inagi City [Notification of moving out]
A moving-out certificate will be issued, so please bring your identity verification documents (driver's license, passport, residence card, etc.) at least 14 days before the scheduled moving date and complete the necessary procedures at the Citizens' Affairs Section.
If you move within Inagi City [notification of change of address]
Please bring the residence cards or special permanent resident certificates of all the people who have moved to the Citizens' Affairs Division within 14 days of starting to live there.
Notes
- Procedures cannot be completed at each branch office.
- If you or someone other than the head of the household will be performing the procedures, please bring a proxy appointment notification (power of attorney).
