Can I get a copy of my resident card in a municipality other than the one where I am registered as a resident?

Updated: March 23, 2017

You can receive a copy of your resident record even if you are not registered as a resident (you cannot display your family register). You can apply only if you receive the issuance of "the claimant" or "a person from the same household as the claimant". An official photo identification card (My Number Card, Basic Resident Registration Card, driver's license, passport, etc.) is required. When presenting a driver's license, the name and address on the license must be the name and address on the resident registration. For more information, please refer to the "Basic Resident Register Network System/Wide-area Issuance of Copies of Resident Records" page .
