QuestionAfter demolishing the house and turning it into a parking lot, the land tax amount increased in the following year. Why is that?

Response

Land used for residential purposes is referred to as "residential land," and special measures for tax assessment standards have been established to reduce the tax burden on "residential land." If a house built on land that is receiving this special measure is demolished, the special measure will no longer apply, resulting in an increase in the land's tax amount.
