Municipal and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax (Resident Tax) is assessed for one year based on the municipality where you reside as of January 1 of that year. Even if you move out of Inagi City after January 2, you will still be required to pay that year's Municipal and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax to Inagi City. Additionally, you will not be subject to Resident Tax in the municipality you move to.
