The adoptive parents and the adoptees will be the ones to submit the notification; however, if the adoptee is under 15 years old, the legal guardians will need to submit the notification on behalf of the adoptee.
Additionally, if the adoptee is a minor, permission from the family court may be required, so please consult with the Citizen Affairs Division before submitting the adoption notification.
