QuestionWhen should I have a prenatal checkup?

Response

The basic timing for receiving a Health Checkup for pregnant women is generally once every four weeks until the 23rd week of pregnancy (end of 6 months), once every two weeks from the 24th week to the 35th week of pregnancy (from 7 months to the end of 9 months), and once a week from the 36th week of pregnancy (from 10 months until delivery).
In Inagi City, we provide 14 vouchers for Health Checkups for pregnant women, 4 vouchers for ultrasound examinations, and 1 voucher for cervical cancer screenings, all enclosed in the maternal and child health bag, which is issued along with the maternal and child health handbook.
Please bring these vouchers to the medical institution when you go for your Health Checkup.
