QuestionPlease tell me about the safety confirmation project for older adults living alone.

Response

Visits and check-ins for safety are conducted by friendly visiting volunteers and through contact calls.
Every year, for those living alone and older adult households aged 75 and over, a survey is conducted with the help of Commissioned Welfare Volunteers. By visiting, the Commissioned Welfare Volunteers understand the situation of older adults and provide monitoring as needed.
Additionally, the Community General Support Center collaborates with Neighborhood Associations and Greenery Clubs to keep an eye on older adults.
