If you lose your My Number Card, please follow the steps below.

If your My Number Card is lost, destroyed by fire, damaged, etc., you can cancel the card and apply for reissuance at the city hall or branch office. If you would like to reissue your My Number Card, please click here .
It takes about a month and a half to receive your My Number Card from the time you apply for it to be reissued.
If you find your lost My Number Card, you can use it again by taking the procedure to cancel the suspension. Procedures are possible at the city hall or a branch office.
[Those who have issued an electronic certificate for signature]
Even if you cancel the suspension of your My Number Card, the electronic signature certificate will not be canceled automatically. After canceling the temporary suspension of the My Number Card, procedures for revocation and reissuance are required. In that case, you will need to enter the PIN number (4 digits and 2 types of electronic certificate for signature) of the discovered My Number card.
