School Characteristics
In the school district of our school, which opened in 1970, several branches of the Omaru irrigation flow, and the irrigation that runs in front of the school is home to large koi, small fish, and crayfish. Additionally, it is a green-rich area with pear orchards and grape fields scattered throughout, so during the comprehensive learning time "Pear Time," we utilize local educational resources such as the Omaru irrigation and pear cultivation to promote inquiry-based learning activities.
This year, we will focus on establishing fundamental knowledge and skills that form the basis of academic ability, conducting activities such as the Shisho Drill, kanji learning, Second School (supplementary classes), and Summer School (learning classes run by local volunteers and parents). We are also committed to improving daily lessons and conducting research lessons by all teachers in our internal research.
