The 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Inagi City System Implementation was held

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city system implementation on November 1, 2021, a commemorative ceremony was held at the Central Cultural Center Hall on November 6, 2021.

In the first part, we had the honor of welcoming the Deputy Governor of Tokyo, the President of the Tokyo Mayors Association, the Chairperson of the Tokyo City Council, the Mayor of our Sister City Ozora Town in Hokkaido, the Mayor of our Friendship City Nozawa Onsen Village in Nagano Prefecture, members of the House of Representatives, members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, and the Chair and Vice Chair of the Inagi City Council, along with mayors from the Tama area and other invited guests.
During the ceremony, we screened a "50th Anniversary Commemorative Video" produced by our staff and presented a choral performance of the "Inagi City Song" by the Music Ensemble Club of Inagi Dai 3 Junior High School.

In the second part, the mayors of the Sister City Ozora Town in Hokkaido, the Friendship City Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture, and the Friendship City Nozawa Onsen Village in Nagano Prefecture, along with the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Inagi City Council, the Chairperson of the Election Administration Commission, the Chairperson of the Agricultural Committee, and the Chairperson of the Award Review Committee were invited to the stage. The ceremony for the presentation of the 50th anniversary gratitude certificates was held with the attendance of the presenters and other invitees.
During the gratitude certificate presentation ceremony, the 50th anniversary gratitude certificates were presented, a representative of the award recipients gave a speech, greetings were made by the mayors of the Sister Cities and Friendship Cities, a message video from Foster City, a 50th anniversary commemorative video was screened, a video of the Inagi City song choir was shown, and a performance was given by the Inagi Philharmonic Orchestra and iMUSICA as a commemorative performance.
