Received the Group Award at the Tokyo Governor Election Awards

The Inagi City Election Administration Committee received a group award from the Tokyo Metropolitan Election Administration Committee for its management and execution of the Tokyo gubernatorial election held on July 7, 2024.

This Tokyo gubernatorial election was unusual in that a by-election for a Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly member (Minamitama electoral district) was also held at short notice following the death of former Inagi City mayor and Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly member Ishikawa Ryoichi. However, thanks to the efforts of all those involved, including the members of the Bright Elections Promotion Council, Bright Elections Promotion Committee members, and polling observers, the election was able to be carried out without any problems.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election and the House of Councillors election are scheduled for 2025. We will continue to strive for fair and impartial administration and execution of the upcoming elections.
