Voter list

In order to vote, you must not only be eligible to vote, but also be on the electoral rolls.

Electoral roll registration

Regular registration is performed on the first day of March, June, September, and December every year.
In addition, when there is an election, we set a reference date and register at the time of the election.

Eligibility for registration

Those who meet the following requirements will be registered.

  • Japanese citizens over the age of 18
  • Those who have been listed in the Basic Resident Register of Inagi City for three consecutive months or more from the date the resident card was created to the reference date.
  • Those who have moved out since the day four months before the reference date and have been recorded in the Inagi City Basic Resident Register for more than three months before moving out.

Deregistration

You will be removed from the electoral rolls if:

  • Death or loss of Japanese nationality
  • When four months have passed since you moved out of Inagi City
