Inagi City Urban Planning Master Plan

Last updated: May 23, 2024

The city planning master plan is the "basic policy regarding city planning for municipalities" stipulated in Article 18-2 of the City Planning Act. The matters stipulated in city planning, such as zoning, district planning, and city planning facilities, are determined based on this city planning master plan.
The urban planning master plan serves as a "guiding goal" that indirectly dictates future land use, and does not directly regulate building uses or construction activities, etc.

Inagi City Urban Planning Master Plan (established in March 2023)

Inagi City formulated an urban planning master plan in March 2003, and has been promoting urban development that takes advantage of the city's characteristics. In addition, some revisions were carried out in 2008 and 2013, and in this review, the future image of town development was completely revised based on trends in town development in the city and changes in the socio-economic situation. The city is surrounded by the rich greenery of the Tama Hills and abundant water from the Tama River, Misawa River, Daimaru Canal, etc., with the aim of being ``A town surrounded by greenery and water and where people can interact with each other.'' We aim to be a town where people can interact with each other across generations, experience a high quality and rich lifestyle, and where citizens can settle down as generations change.
The plan is only to post the data on this website, and a bound version has not been created.
