production green area
Last updated: May 2, 2024
The production green area is an urban planning system that systematically and permanently conserves agricultural land in urbanized areas and contributes to the formation of a good living environment. Inagi City has designated 437 districts and 94.89 hectares of productive green areas. (Inagi City Notification No. 1, January 1, 2020)
Once designated as a productive green area, proper management and conservation of agricultural land is required, and activities such as building buildings and developing residential land are restricted, but preferential tax treatment (fixed asset tax, inheritance tax, etc.) ) can be received.
Certificate issuance
About issuance of "certificate that it is productive green district" "applicable certificate such as farmlands of exception application of tax payment deferment", please see page of city planning proof .
Specified Production Green Space System
The Designated Productive Green Space System is a system that allows the designation period to be extended every 10 years for productive green spaces that have been designated for 30 years. For production green zones that have been designated for 30 years, the inheritance tax payment grace system cannot be applied to the next inheritance unless the production green zone is designated as a specific production green zone. In addition, fixed asset tax and city planning tax may be taxed at the same level as residential land in five years.
- The production green areas designated in 1992 and 1993 were designated as specific production green areas.
- Regarding the productive green space areas designated in 1997 and 1998, we plan to hold explanatory meetings for the owners of the relevant productive green space between 2024 and 2025.
- A productive green zone that is not a specific productive green zone and has been designated for 30 years (in the case of designation in 1992, after October 28, 2022) can apply for purchase (procedure for canceling the productive green zone) .

The next designation for fiscal year 2025 (scheduled to be announced on January 1, 2026) will be accepted during January 2024.
