Main Reasons for Awards

Initiatives of Inagi Dai 7 Elementary School

Introduction of School Library Activation Promoters

School library revitalization promoters listen to teachers about the lesson content and provide books that align with the themes. In addition to providing books, they directly introduce books to children as part of a "book talk," connecting them to research learning.

All School Reading Mail

During the autumn reading month, we are conducting a school-wide reading mail where students write their recommended books on special postcards and send them to friends and teachers. This also serves as a way to encourage children to engage in reading voluntarily.

95% of children love reading

In the all-school reading survey conducted in November 2021, 95% of the children responded that they "like reading." Additionally, the average annual number of books borrowed from the school library in the 2021 fiscal year has increased to about 52 books (compared to about 26 books in the 2010 fiscal year).
