Contents of the opinion and the city's approach to it

Basic agricultural plan

(Summary of opinions)

  • I would like to see Tamba Sasayama produce black soybeans and edamame and make it the third brand after ``Inagi'' for pears and ``Takao'' for grapes.
  • Regarding the production of black soybeans and edamame, in order to make use of farmers' own farmland and dormant farmland, we will match people who are interested in agricultural work with dormant farmland and instructors through public recruitment, and have them produce it. Developing human resources who will be responsible for agriculture and creating new specialty products will attract customers from outside the city, which will also be a plus for tourism.

(City's approach)
In this city, pears and grapes are farmed in a stable manner that takes advantage of their brand power, and vegetables are farmed in a stable manner with a focus on direct sales.
While taking into account your opinions, we will work together with farmers and related organizations to establish new agricultural products brands, with a view to utilizing idle farmland and training agricultural leaders. We will research on raising crops and strive to promote agriculture.

Tourism basic plan

(Summary of opinions)

  • Regarding industrial tourism, such as public infrastructure facilities and factories, filming for special effects television programs is carried out in various locations in the city, but this information is not widely known, and some locations are normally inaccessible, so this valuable pilgrimage resource is not being utilized.
  • In order to make the most of sacred pilgrimage resources, it is necessary to ``implement guided tours that allow access to places that are normally inaccessible'' and to ``create easy-to-understand photo spots.''
  • By creating a system that gives priority to city business operators when planning tourism events in the city and placing orders for goods production, etc., it becomes clear to citizens that ``tourism projects contribute to the city's economy.'' This also leads to improved image.

(City's approach)
In order to actively promote location services (photography support), the city has organized the Inagi Location Service in collaboration with the Inagi City Tourism Association and private specialized companies, and has created special effects TV programs based on feedback received. We support a variety of location activities, including introducing shooting locations such as buildings and parks, procedures such as applying for facility use, and being present during shooting.
In the future, in the process of accumulating shooting results through Inagi Location Service, we are considering creating location maps and holding walking tours around filming locations as part of our location tourism initiatives. We would also like to hear your opinions. We will use this information as a reference in our efforts to promote tourism and regional development through location photography.
In addition, the Second Inagi City Tourism Basic Plan states that the measures to be taken include, ``In holding events, etc., we will actively collaborate with business operators in the city and strive to foster related industries by building cooperative relationships.'' Therefore, we will work together with tourism-related businesses in the city to promote tourism and the local economy.
