Subsidy Program for Energy-Saving Equipment Installation for Small and Medium Enterprises in Inagi City

To support local Business Operators affected by the surge in energy prices and to promote energy-saving measures, we will subsidize a portion of the installation costs for energy-saving equipment introduced by local Business Operators.

Reception Period

From April 1, 2025 (Tuesday) to December 26, 2025 (Friday)

Note: For submissions at the counter, acceptance is until 5 PM (excluding weekends and holidays). For mail submissions, the postmark must be dated December 26, 2025.

Note: It will end as soon as the budget amount is reached.

Note: If there are multiple applications when the budget amount is reached, the applicants will be determined by a lottery from among those with the same reception date.

Eligible Equipment

If you replace the following existing equipment that has been in use for over 10 years with energy-saving equipment

(1) High Efficiency Air Conditioning Equipment

(2) Refrigerators and Freezers (including beverage and product display showcases)

(3) Hot Water Supply Equipment

 

2 Replacement of existing fluorescent lamps, incandescent lamps, etc. with LED lighting fixtures

 

Note: Both 1 and 2 above apply to equipment purchased from January 1, 2025, to December 26, 2025.

Eligible Recipients

Business operators with a business office in the city that meet all of the following (1) to (3)

(1) Business operators that are small and medium-sized enterprises (as defined in Article 2 of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Basic Act), welfare corporations, school corporations, medical corporations, or NPOs (regardless of whether they are corporations or individuals)

(2) Business Operators who intend to continue their business in Inagi City after the grant is provided.

(3) Business Operators with no arrears in Municipal Tax that have reached the due date

 

(However, if any of the following apply, you will not be eligible for assistance even if you meet the above requirements.)

(1) Business Operators related to the management and operation of Public Facilities

(2) Business Operators engaged in activities that violate public order and morals

(3) Business Operators that are political organizations or religious organizations or groups

(4) Business Operators who have not obtained the necessary permits and licenses for their business activities

(5) Business operators whose representatives, officers, or employees fall under any of the categories listed in Article 2, Items 2 and 3 of the Inagi City Ordinance on Exclusion of Organized Crime Groups and the Act on Prevention of Unlawful Acts by Organized Crime Groups.

(6) Business Operators deemed inappropriate by the mayor in light of the purpose of the subsidy

Eligible Expenses and Subsidy Rate

Eligible Expenses for Subsidies

(1) The main body of the subsidized equipment, (2) its ancillary equipment, (3) the introduction costs related to construction expenses.

However, the introduction through lease contracts, consumption tax, and local consumption tax are not eligible for subsidies.

Subsidy Rate

Half of the total eligible expenses

However, it will be within the budget and capped at 200,000 yen.

Note: When there is a fraction of less than 1,000 yen, the fraction will be discarded.

Note: When receiving subsidies from the national government or other sources, the total amount of the relevant subsidy and any other subsidies must not exceed the introduction costs for the subsidy to be granted.

Application Form

(1) Application Form (Form No. 1)

(2) Consent and Pledge Form (Form No. 2)

(3) Certificate of Registered Matters (for corporations only)

(4) Copies of the first and second forms of the final tax return for the fiscal year 2024, and the blue return financial statement (limited to individual business operators)

 Note: If you have not submitted the blue return final statement to the tax office, submission is not required.

 Note: In principle, those with a reception stamp or the date and time of electronic submission

(5) Documents that can confirm the amount of eligible expenses stated in the Application Form

 (If before the introduction of subsidized equipment, a quotation, and if after the introduction of subsidized equipment, an invoice, etc.)

(6) Items that can confirm compliance with the specifications and requirements of the subsidized equipment

 (Copy of specifications or catalog, etc.)

(7) Items that can confirm the specifications of existing equipment

 (Copy of specifications or catalog, or a photo of the nameplate displayed on the product, etc.)

(8) Color photographs or similar that can confirm the planned installation location of the subsidized equipment or the location of equipment introduction.

Flow from Application to Grant Payment

(1) Submit the complete set of application documents in person or by mail to the Economic Affairs Section, Commerce Division (6th floor of City Hall)

Note: For mail, the postmark must be dated on the same day.

(2) After the review of the submitted documents, the city will mail the notification of the grant decision (or non-grant) and the invoice to the applicant.

Note: If you have applied before the installation of the equipment, you will also send the performance report by mail.

(3) Fill in the required information on the invoice and submit the invoice, etc. to the Economic Affairs Section, Commerce Division (6th floor of City Hall) in person or by mail.

Note: If the performance report has been received by mail, please submit the performance report as well.

(4) After submitting the invoice, transfer to the financial institution account specified in the invoice.

Note: It generally takes about one month from the submission of the invoice to the transfer.
