Flow from reception to convocation

To all players

After putting on your bib number, please enter the grounds from the main entrance or the west entrance, put down your belongings, and participate in the opening ceremony. Once the competition starts, please gather at the athlete assembly area by the designated time.
(Players entering the ground from the front will be guided by staff to the player waiting area.)
Note: After the opening ceremony, only the runners of Race No. 1 and Race No. 2 should remain on the field and follow the instructions of the staff to the waiting area. Athletes participating in other races should leave the field and prepare in the spectator area until they are called.

To all parents

Please go around the perimeter and enter the viewing area from the west entrance .
Please note that parents are not allowed to enter the grounds where athletes are running. The viewing area will be a section of stone steps separated by ropes. (See venue map)

About convocation

  1. Runners must arrive at the run-in area 10 minutes before the start of their race (except for the girls' division for 3rd and 4th grade elementary school students). Runners who are late will be considered as having forfeited the race.
  2. At the start, participants will line up in order of bib number. Please note that if you are late for the meeting time, you will be placed at the back of the class.

Notes on participating

  1. Warm-up exercises will be conducted during the opening ceremony, but please make sure to prepare thoroughly and take care to avoid injury.
  2. All events will start and finish inside the stadium. Please note that the planned course may change depending on weather conditions such as snowfall.
  3. Due to race management, the next event may start even if all participants of that event have not yet reached the finish line. When crossing the course, the runners of the next event will have priority , so the runners of the previous event may be asked to wait.
  4. In the parent-child division, participants must hold hands while finishing the race (they may separate during the race).
  5. As a general rule, runners should run on the left side of the course, and when overtaking a runner on a curve, runners should overtake on the right side.
  6. In principle, any objections regarding the race must be reported to the race headquarters within 30 minutes of the end of the race.
  7. No escorts are allowed except those with permission from the organizer.

About awards

  1. Medals and certificates will be awarded to the 1st to 3rd place male and female athletes in each grade, and certificates will be awarded to the 4th to 6th place athletes. After the race, the 1st to 6th place winners in each event will wait on the grounds, and staff will guide them to the front of the main stand. We ask that all winners follow the instructions of the staff. The awards ceremony will be held as soon as preparations are complete. Please note that depending on the status of record compilation, etc., it may not be possible to award the winners in the order of the race, or you may have to wait.
  2. About ★Group Awards★
  • The teams are divided into two divisions, for elementary school students and junior high school students, regardless of gender, and an overall winner is determined for each division. In each division, points are awarded to the players from teams that rank in the top 10 for elementary school students and the top 5 for junior high school students. The team with the most points is declared the overall winner.
  • For group awards, trophies and certificates will be awarded only to the overall winning groups in each elementary and junior high school division. The group awards will be held after the awards for each division, so please come to the prizewinners' gathering area in front of the main stand.

About records

  1. Your time will be measured using a bib number with an IC chip attached. Your bib number will be given to you at registration, so please attach it to your chest with the provided safety pin so that the number is clearly visible. After the race, please remove the IC chip yourself and return it to the collection box. Please note that the IC chip may malfunction if you approach the finish line before the race has started. If you drop out of the race or forget to return the chip after the race, please return the IC chip to the race headquarters (in front of the main stand).
  2. This year's record certificates will be issued online. To check your results, log in to this site and enter your bib number and password (your four-digit date of birth) to have your certificate issued (your bib number also has a two-dimensional code, so you can check it there as well). Online viewing and issuance of record certificates is scheduled to begin after 4:00 p.m. on the day of the marathon.
  3. Regarding the posting of records, on the day of the event, they will be posted on the record bulletin board (near the reception desk) and on X (formerly Twitter), a dedicated account for the elementary and junior high school marathon. They will be posted on the city's website within three days after the event. Only bib numbers and records (times) will be posted. Note: Names will not be posted, so please do not forget your bib number.

  2. Only those involved in the award ceremony (such as parents of the athletes being awarded) are allowed in the front stand. Please leave as soon as the award ceremony is over.
  3. Please take care of your valuables. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  4. Changing rooms and shower rooms will not be available on the day.
