The Inagi City Boccia Tournament, a joint project with the Inagi City District Sports Promotion Association, will be held!

The Inagi City Boccia Tournament will be held as a joint event with the Inagi City District Sports Promotion Association.
Not only those who enjoy boccia on a regular basis, but beginners too are welcome to participate, so please apply!
The top two teams will be eligible to compete in the 2024 Tokyo Urban and Village Boccia Tournament to be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

Date: Sunday, December 15, 2024
Time: 9:30am to noon (reception opens at 9am)

Competition rules

This tournament will be conducted in accordance with the Japan Boccia Association Competition Rules 2021-2024 v.2.0 and the tournament agreements.
On the day of the match, please follow the referee's instructions and cooperate in ensuring the smooth running of the match.
Of course, don't worry, there will be a referee to guide you so that even those who don't know much about the rules can enjoy the game!

Match format

  • Team competition (3 to 6 people per team), 2-end system (3 people participating in 1 end)
  • Rankings will be determined by group league and tournament format (subject to change depending on the number of participating teams)
  • Teams eliminated in the group stage can also use the vacant courts for practice and friendly matches.
  • The referee will be an officer of the district sports promotion association.

・Persons of elementary school age or older who live, work, or attend school in the city (one team must have at least one person who lives, works, or goes to school in Inagi City)
・No handicap for people with disabilities (assistive devices may be used)
・Up to 6 people per team can enter ・If there are less than 3 people applying, the secretariat will form a team.

・ Bring the application form to the Sports Promotion Division on the 6th floor of City Hall
・Submit your application to your local sports promotion association. <br id="9"/>Note: If you are submitting your application to your local sports promotion association, please contact the person in charge in your area in advance.

Tokyo City and Town Boccia Tournament 2024

The Tokyo City and Town Boccia Tournament is a competition in which representative teams from 30 cities, towns and villages within the Tokyo metropolitan area participate.
The top two teams from the Inagi City Boccia Tournament will be able to participate.
