On February 21, 2022, the Inagi City Fire Brigade received the "Commissioner of Fire and Disaster Management Agency Award." This recognition was for their achievements in conducting vigilance activities at two venues, Tokyo Stadium and Musashino Forest Sports Plaza, during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
