First Aid Promoter
What is a First Aid Promoter?
A first aid instructor is a person certified by the Mayor of Inagi City who primarily provides first aid training (such as CPR and AED handling) to employees at their affiliated business or organization within the city.
Eligible Individuals
Those who live or work in the city and wish to obtain certification and hold a first aid training course.
The training to become a first aid instructor consists of a total of 24 hours (8 hours over 3 days) covering anatomy and physiology, understanding of medical conditions, skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and teaching guidelines.
If you currently hold a first aid instructor certification, you can renew your certification by taking a 3-hour training course.

Note: For those who have previously taken the first aid instructor training in Inagi City, we are sending notification letters to those eligible for renewal. Additionally, individuals who have taken the first aid instructor training in other cities and currently reside or work in Inagi City can renew their qualifications by attending the training on the above schedule within the deadline. For more details, please contact the Inagi Fire Station.
About First Aid Instruction Held by First Aid Promoters
Those who have obtained the qualification of a first aid instructor can hold the following training sessions for employees or members of their affiliated workplaces, disaster prevention organizations, or groups. Additionally, they can issue completion certificates and other documents issued by the Inagi City Fire Department.
- Basic Life Support Course: A 3-hour course to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults. A completion certificate will be issued. It is also possible to focus the content on CPR for children and infants. A completion certificate will be issued.
- Basic Life Support Course: A 90-minute training session to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults. This course is conducted when it is difficult to hold a 3-hour training session. A simple completion certificate will be issued.
- First Aid Training: This training does not follow the format of 1.2, and the time and content will be determined by the instructor. No completion certificate will be issued.

Online Application for Course Hosting
Online applications for various training sessions are now available.

After applying, please be aware that the fire department may contact you if there are any deficiencies in the application or if we are unable to accommodate your equipment borrowing request.
If you are a member of the fire brigade or hold a qualification as a first aid instructor and wish to hold a training session, you can also use this input form.
(We will continue to accept applications via the previous paper-based method.)
After the training session, please report using the "Result Report Form."
