Estimated Damage to Tokyo from a Directly Beneath the Capital Earthquake

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has reviewed the "Damage Estimates for Tokyo due to a Directly Beneath the Capital Earthquake" for the first time in 10 years, and in May 2022, announced new damage estimates for eight types of anticipated earthquakes: a southern central Tokyo earthquake, an eastern Tama earthquake, an eastern central Tokyo earthquake, a western central Tokyo earthquake, a western Tama earthquake, a Tachikawa fault zone earthquake, the Great Kanto Earthquake, and a Nankai Trough mega earthquake.

Note: This includes the damage estimates for the "Tama Eastern Subterranean Earthquake," which is assumed to have a significant impact on Inagi City.
