Beware of suspicious emails disguised as Inagi City

Suspicious emails disguised as coming from Inagi City have been reported to local businesses and other entities.
Such suspicious emails may contain viruses in the attachments or include links to dubious websites in the body.
Furthermore, Inagi City's computers are not infected with viruses, and there has been no information leakage.

Things to Note

Suspicious emails have the following characteristics. If there are any suspicious points in an email received from Inagi City, it is highly likely to be a suspicious email, so please be careful not to easily open any attachments and not to access any links in the body of the email.

  • This is an email that I have no recollection of.
  • It looks like a reply to the email I sent, but there are some unnatural points.
  • The subject is only the name of the department or an individual.
  • The subject is only "Re:" or "Fwd:".
  • The sender's address is spoofed.
  • An attachment is included, and the password to unzip it is mentioned in the text.
  • The phone number and fax number listed in the signature are not those of Inagi City.
