1 What kind of place is the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE?
This facility can be used for information gathering, creation and exchange, and as a place for experiences, utilizing the functions of the Central Library and the naturally blessed parks, etc.
2 How to Use?
Use of the Individual Study Room [Study Room (2)]
Please present your library card at the reception and receive a reception card before use. Please return the reception card after you are finished.
Seating is free. The use of devices that make noise (calculators, keyboard PCs) is not allowed.
To allow many people to use the space, please refrain from occupying seats for long periods.
Residents of the seven cities along the Keio Line (Inagi City, Hachioji City, Fuchu City, Chofu City, Machida City, Hino City, Tama City) and Kawasaki City can use the facilities (registration at Inagi City Library is required for use).
Use of Audiovisual Room, Lecture Room, Workshop, Learning Room (1), Learning Room (3)
To use the facilities, prior registration as a user of Inagi City Public Facilities is required.
Registration can be done as an organization or an individual.
Notes on Registration and Usage
- Not intended for profit-making activities, political activities, or religious activities.
- Cannot be used for profit-making classroom activities.
- Sales of goods are not available.
- Instruments, karaoke, and chorus cannot be used.
- Due to the specifications of the meeting room, loud noises and vibrations, as well as physical activities, are not allowed.
- Please use the room according to its intended purpose.

Use of the facility is generally subject to a fee.
However, for city business cooperation organizations (projects), it will be free of charge.

3 Registration Procedure
(A) Required Documents
Please submit the 'Application Form for Registration of Users of Public Facilities in Inagi City' at the reception.
Based on the submitted documents, we will review the registration requirements, etc. The review will take approximately one week. If approved, the 'User Registration Certificate for Public Facilities in Inagi City' will be issued within 14 days of submission.
(i) Valid Period
The validity period of the registration is up to 2 years. A registration deadline is set at the end of fiscal years with an odd first digit in the year.
When re-registering, procedures will be required.
(u) What if I am already registered at the Community Center or similar facilities?
If you wish to use the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE, you will need to submit a new "Application Form for Registration of Users of Public Facilities in Inagi City." If approved, you will be able to use the institute with the same ID.
4 How to Apply
Application for Each Room
Please use the Inagi City Public Facilities Reservation System to apply.
Only those who have registered as users can apply for reservations during the reservation acceptance period using a computer, mobile phone, smartphone, or dedicated terminal.
Applications can be made on a first-come, first-served basis starting three months before the date of use.
Reservations will be prioritized for independent or supported projects of Inagi City and the Experience Center, Lifelong Learning projects, and projects of Social Education organizations.
About Payment of Usage Fees
Please pay the usage fee at the reception within 10 days from the application date.
5 How to Use Each Room
(a) When using the room
- Please bring the approval document when using the room.
- Please receive your check card at the reception.
- Please adhere to the reserved usage time.
- Eating and drinking are not allowed.
- If you use chairs, desks, etc. from other rooms, please be sure to inform the reception.
(i) When you have finished using the room
- Please check the items based on the check card.
- Please submit the completed check card at the reception.
- Please return the room's desk and chairs to their original state according to the seating arrangement.
6 About the Use of the Exhibition Corner
Please use it as a presentation venue for citizens.
Usage is limited to one time per organization in principle.
The maximum loan period is up to 9 days.
It cannot be used for profit, religious, or political activities.
Every year in November or December, we will recruit for loans for the following year.
(Details will be published in the Lifelong Learning newsletter "Hiroba.")
Even after the recruitment ends, loans will be available if there are vacancies. (Please inquire about availability)

7 Usage of Lockers
- The loan period is one year. Please submit the Application Form. (If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held.)
- Items that can be stored in the locker are limited to materials such as teaching aids that are used regularly for that activity.
- Items that are rarely used throughout the year cannot be stored.
- The locker keys are managed at the reception.
- We cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to items in the locker, so please understand.
- You cannot store group property or personal belongings in places other than lockers.
- Multiple lockers cannot be used by a single organization.
8 Wi-Fi Router Lending Information (Starting June 1, 2023)
In our city, we have established rental Wi-Fi routers that can be used in conference rooms and other areas within Public Facilities to improve convenience for users.
Available Users for Lending
SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE rooms (audiovisual room, lecture room, workshop, study room (1), study room (3)) users
Note: Only one device can be rented, and it cannot be used if other users have reserved the Wi-Fi router for the same time slot.
How to Use
(a) When reserving a Wi-Fi router
When applying for facilities in the Inagi City Public Facilities Reservation System, please select "Wi-Fi Router" from the equipment reservation screen.
(i) When using a Wi-Fi router
Please sign the notice at the reception when using the room and use the Wi-Fi router.
(u) When you have finished using the room
Please check the usage check card and return the Wi-Fi router, etc.
Points to Note for Use
Please be sure to check the "About the Rental Wi-Fi Router" and the "Precautions for Using the Wi-Fi Router at the SHIROYAMA EXPERIENCE STUDY INSTITUE of Inagi City Central Library" in advance before using.
9 Other
Acts that disturb others or failure to follow staff instructions may result in a prohibition of use.
If you damage or lose facilities or equipment, please report it to the staff immediately.
Depending on the situation, you may be required to compensate for damages.
