When Involved in a Traffic Accident

Please make sure to notify both the police and City Hall at the same time.
In principle, when involved in a traffic accident, the perpetrator is responsible for covering all Medical Expenses. However, if you receive treatment under the Late-Stage Elderly Medical Care system, the wide-area union will temporarily cover the costs and will bill the perpetrator.
Please be aware that if you settle the case, you may no longer be able to receive treatment under the Late-Stage Elderly Medical Care system.
