Generic Pharmaceuticals
What are generic drugs (subsequent prescription drugs)?
Generic drugs (subsequent drugs) are medications that are sold after the patent of a new drug (original drug) has expired, containing the same active ingredients and having the same efficacy and effects as the original drug.
They are more affordable and economical than original drugs, leading to a reduction in patients' out-of-pocket expenses and an improvement in insurance finances.
