[For Medical Institutions] Claims for COVID-19 vaccination costs from April 11, 2024

During the temporary vaccination period (until the end of March 2024), the cost of the COVID-19 vaccine will be paid as follows for each vaccination, depending on the date and time of vaccination.

Vaccination Cost Unit

1. Vaccination other than 2 and 3 below: 2,277 yen per session (Pre-examination only: 1,694 yen per session)
2. Vaccination outside of regular hours: 3,080 yen per session (Pre-examination only: 2,497 yen per session)
3. Vaccination on holidays: 4,620 yen per session (Pre-examination only: 4,037 yen per session)

Note: If administered to infants and young children under 6 years old, an additional 726 yen will be added to the above amount.

After the vaccination is conducted at each medical institution, you need to aggregate the number of doses from 1 to 3 by municipality and submit the necessary documents.
Please note that the claims to the National Health Insurance Federation will close on April 10, 2024.

Claims after the end of reception by the National Health Insurance Federation (after April 11, 2024)

If the claim to the National Health Insurance Federation was not submitted in time, the billing destination and other details will be changed as follows.
