Business operators that do not aim for profit must register as "Welfare Paid Transportation" under the Road Transport Law in order to provide paid transportation services for individuals with mobility difficulties, such as persons with disabilities and older adults.
To this end, 22 cities and 4 towns in the Tama region, including Inagi City, have jointly established an operating council to discuss the registration application details and necessity of welfare paid transportation.
