How to dispose of bulky garbage

Before you throw it away, consider reusing it.
Inagi City signed an agreement with Market Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Jimoty Co., Ltd. on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
We are working to further promote reuse by coordinating with the services of each company.
By reusing, you will not only get closer to realizing Inagi City's goal of "creating a circular city through the promotion of 5R+1 [collaboration]," but it will also help reduce the collection fees you pay .
Before you throw away your trash, please consider reusing it.

If you want a recycle shop to buy your items → Reuse platform "Okura"
Oikura is a reuse platform developed by Market Enterprise Co., Ltd.
When someone who wants to sell unwanted items requests an appraisal through "Oikura," the appraiser will send a request for an appraisal to affiliated recycling shops nationwide, and the buyer can compare the purchase prices.

You can transfer or receive unwanted items free of charge or for a fee.

How to dispose of bulky garbage
Collection of bulky waste must be scheduled in advance.
A maximum of 10 items may be disposed of per household on each collection day.
If you have more than 10 items, please use separate collection days.
(Note) It may not be possible to add or change collection days once the maximum collection amount has been exceeded.
Conditions that apply to bulky waste
Items that meet any of the following conditions should be disposed of as bulky garbage .
- 1 side is 50cm or more
- The sum of three sides is 100cm or more
- Items weighing 5 kg or more
Items that do not fall under bulky waste
Home appliances subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law
Please be sure to remove batteries, fluorescent lights, etc., and dispose of them on the "Hazardous Substances" day once a month.
Procedures for disposing of bulky garbage
Reservations for bulky waste collection can now be made over the internet in addition to the traditional telephone system.
In order to reduce congestion at our telephone reception desk, please actively use our online reception service.
Step 1 Collection reservation
(1) Internet reservation
Please apply from the Inagi City Oversized Garbage Internet Reception Page .
Reception hours: 24 hours/every day (excluding regular maintenance)
(Application procedure)
- Please be sure to read the notes on the online reception page before applying.
- Start your application by clicking the "Apply" button at the bottom of the online reception page.
- When you enter your email address and press the "Apply for bulky waste collection" button, an email with a new reception URL will be sent to the email address you entered.
- Access the URL provided in the email and enter applicant information, waste disposal location, item, and collection date.
- On the application confirmation screen, please confirm that the information you have entered is correct and then apply.
- You will receive an email "Reception Completion Notification".
- The day before the collection day, you will receive a ``Notification of the day before the collection day'' email.
- Please attach the bulky waste disposal ticket to the item and take it out to the designated disposal area.
(Note)
We will notify you via email of any changes, cancellations, or notifications made the day before the reservation.

This is a send-only email, so even if you reply, you will not be able to apply, change the details, or cancel your application.
(2) Telephone reservation
Please apply at the bulky waste reception and collection center.

Reception hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the New Year holidays)
Once the reception is complete, you will be notified of the collection date, the amount and number of "Inagi City Bulky Waste Disposal Tickets" required, etc.
Please prepare your notes.
Note 1: Depending on the season and time of day, calls may be busy and difficult to get through. Please use the online reservation system or try calling at a different time.
Note 2: Outside reception hours, please apply by fax (042-378-9015).
When applying, please clearly state (1) the subject of your request, (2) your address, (3) your name, (4) your phone number, and (5) the item, dimensions, weight, and quantity. We will respond by fax on the next business day (excluding holidays, etc.).
Note 3: Depending on reservation status, it may take 2 to 4 weeks until the collection date.
Please apply with plenty of time to spare.
Step 2 Purchase “Inagi City Oversized Garbage Disposal Ticket”
Please purchase the necessary number of "Inagi City Oversized Garbage Disposal Tickets" that you will receive when you complete your collection reservation at a store near you.

Step 3 Dispose of “bulky garbage”
Please affix the "Inagi City Oversized Garbage Disposal Ticket" and place the garbage at the disposal site by the morning of the scheduled collection day.
Please write your name or reception number in the name column on the bulky waste disposal ticket.
Note: The reception number is the number notified by the reception collection center when the collection reservation is completed.
Note: If you wish to change or cancel the items you are putting out, please be sure to contact the "Oversized Garbage Reception Collection Center" by phone at least one day before the scheduled collection date.
Bulky waste removal service
We provide a bulky garbage removal service for households consisting of only elderly people aged 65 years or older or people with physical disabilities of grade 4 or higher who find it difficult to dispose of bulky garbage at designated disposal sites.
