How to dispose of business waste

All garbage generated by business establishments (offices, shops, etc.) is “business waste”.
Business-related waste must be handled and disposed of under the responsibility of the business establishment, but the city will collect it for a fee only in the case of a small amount that cannot be disposed of by the business itself or contracted with a contractor.

The city only collects general waste.
General waste refers to "paper, lunch boxes, tea leaves, juice cans, bottles, PET bottles, slips, newspapers and magazines, and others."
We cannot collect furniture and electrical appliances used in the office.

Industrial waste refers to materials (waste materials, waste oil, waste plastic, etc.) that are discharged as a result of business activities.
For industrial waste, please ask an industrial waste collection and transportation company.

Dispose of by one of the following methods (1) to (3).

(1) Self-processing at the place of business

It refers to the case of self-processing at a processing plant owned by a business establishment.

(2) Ask the city to collect

If it is general waste and is less than 15 kilograms (three 45-liter bags) at one time, you can ask the city to collect it.
Garbage is put out on the same day as household garbage (Please put it out by 8:00 a.m. on the same day. You cannot specify the time.)

Note 1: For combustible and non-combustible garbage, please purchase the city's designated collection bags and dispose of them.
Remarks 2: Recyclable waste can be discharged free of charge only if it was used in the office.
Remark 3: Furniture and electrical appliances cannot be collected even if they were used in the office. Please ask your dealer.

(3) Ask a collection and transportation company

This is a method for making a direct contract between a city-approved collection and transportation company and each office when the city cannot collect it.
This applies to businesses such as:
In this case, the city's designated collection bag is not required.

• Business establishments that generate more than 15 kilograms (three 45-liter bags) of garbage at one time
• Businesses that produce a small amount of garbage but do not meet the city's collection schedule and time

Note 1: Please make a contract directly with the collection and transportation company after confirming the collection date and fees.
Remark 2: Collection of general waste in Inagi City is limited by law to licensed businesses. It is not possible to request collection from other companies.
