Please double check the separation before putting out your trash! !

Updated: January 19, 2023

There have been a number of news reports about explosions caused by people hitting large amounts of spray cans indoors with sharp hammers to make holes and release gas.
Spray cans and other items are filled with flammable gas, so if the waste is punctured or disposed of incorrectly, it may lead to accidents such as house/vehicle fires or damage to machinery, and the processing facility may be shut down. There is a fear.
In order to prevent fires and protect the safety of collection workers, please check the garbage/recycling calendar again before putting out your garbage to make sure that it is properly sorted. Either use it up to the end before you throw it out, or if you can't use it up, just throw it out without making a hole and throw it out on the once-a-month "Hazardous Substances" day.
If you have any questions about sorting, please contact the Living Environment Division.
