Bead cushions, contents of bead cushions How to dispose of garbage

Updated: July 1, 2024

Bead cushions (less than 50cm) and their contents should be disposed of as burnable garbage.

The material inside the bead cushion is "fine polystyrene foam",

  • Garbage spills out when opening collected garbage bags
  • Even if the plastic is put into the plastic processing equipment, it gets stuck to the machine and cannot be processed.

For these reasons, it cannot be treated as plastic.

Please dispose of the bead cushion and its contents as burnable garbage .

  • The classification is "burnable garbage."
  • Please put it in a transparent or semi-transparent plastic bag and then put it in the "designated burnable garbage collection bag (yellow)" for disposal. (For bead cushions, please put them in a plastic bag in their cushion form without removing the contents or dismantling them.)
  • Please dispose of beanbag cushions that are 50cm or larger as "bulky garbage."
